Service Description

A patient clinician awaits you if you want help. My comprehensive assessments can take as long as four hours (not in one sitting). I will use formal psychological assessment tools (eg HAD, GAD, HAM, DIVA 5, ASRS, Conners Rating Scale, Weiss Symptom Record, COWS, CIWA) and seek collateral information to support my clinical opinion. I adhere to the DSM V and ICD 11 psychopathology criteria for formal diagnosis. I am a prescribing psychiatric nurse and it will always be a demanding profession to me, but the rewards are not always obvious to me. I know that my satisfaction is intermingled with facilitating each individual patient recovery, supporting relatives and friends, and providing health education.
